Pakistani Scientists introduce new fertilizer model

FAISALABAD: The Scientists of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Punjab agriculture department have marked a new chapter of success by introducing a fertilizer model of Nitrogen and Phosphorus keeping in view the soil analysis and type of crop.
It is revealed during a training workshop aiming to equip the officers of soil fertility and agricultural extension of district Gujranawala and Bahawalpur with various aspects of aforesaid fertilizer models.


Addressing the participants of the workshop, Ex-DG Extension of Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Dr Rasheed Ahmad said that constant and robust efforts of the scientists resulted in making a successful fertilizer ratio keeping in view the soil fertility, structure and other analytical conditions.
He told the participants that in the first phase, a training workshop for Faisalabad and Multan districts was organized with the same objectives coupled with setting up call centers at the respective areas of the participants.
He urged the participants to make all-out efforts in setting up call centers for the farming community so that they can apply only the needful volume of the fertilizer on the crops.
